Default Champagne bottles on planes

Hi,

My hotel in Hong Kong are going to charge £80 for a bottle of Champagne.
So, instead of re-mortgaging the house, I thought I'd get one from M&S
before I leave! Will it travel ok on the plane, or will it explode and
cause a bubble-terror-alert?

Thanks

Will

Should be fine, I have carried lots of bottles of champagne on various
flights to JFK in both suitcase and hand luggage, but M&S Champagne!!!!!!!

If in doubt, check with the airline.

You can imagine the scenes. I'd be held at gunpoint/restrained, asking if
anyone wants a drop...
