The Radisson SAS is closer (actually on campus).

In practice the Hilton, by the long term carpark, is no less convenient.

Yes, but they charge you (£3 I think) for the trip from hotel to
terminal, which is a damned cheek. (Hilton charges too.)

How are you getting to the airport/hotel. In the past I've been let down
by their fly-drive where the parking wasn't on the hotel site but in a
nearby mid stay carpark; which means that in practice you have no access
to the car in the morning and 20 minutes extra hassle in the evening.

>I need to be at the airport by 08:00.

No problem.

You didn't mention price :)

>By train

The evening trains are a bit patchy, and the last through one is pretty
early. (arr Stansted 20.05).

Something I hadn't noticed is they seem to have scrapped the weekday
shuttles [there are still a few at weekends] between Stansted and
Cambridge that Central used to run after the last through trains (and
the latest to leave Stansted is 20.20). So you'd have to go via Bishops
Stortford.
