I'd take the train - I did this journey last year (albeit in a more
roundabout way) and there's a direct train roughly once an hour between
the two. Intercity / Regional trains take around 90 mins while the
"stopper" is about 1h 45mins.
My PKP timetable is out of date but reading the fares page in my
non-existent Polish, I think the fare is between 12PLN (Regional) and
26PLN (Intercity) 2nd class. Other trains may fall somewhere between the
two.
