I could be on a hospital waiting list for a very minor condition (even
something not illness-related like cosmetic surgery). Indeed, the more
minor the condition the longer the wait (typically). To say that this
bans me from even getting a quote for any additional premium seems a
little harsh.

With the number of people who get signed of work these days for
"stress", this is another very wide exemption.

I dunno. But you were the one saying "the other insurer WILL/CAN cover
those". I was merely saying "no they won't!!".
