Default British Airways says no rush to upgrade fleet

BA is so Heathrow-centric it keeps trying to kill off Gatwick. Are they
really likely to set up a transatlantic base in PAR, BRU etc?

They can't open up any more slots, so perhaps the extra space is going
to make everything less crowded, and avoid the need to unload planes
onto buses because they have run out of jetways.

I've arrived at Heathrow on a full service airline (Virgin 747) and the
captain has apologised for there being no airbridge, and ranted on about
congestion and how it wasn't going to get any better until T5 was open.
We then waited ages for a bus :-(
