| | Guest | Time to get through Heathrow Hello,
I'm trying to book a train ticket to get me home and I need to know how
long it is likely to take me to get through heathrow airport on a
tuesday at about 5pm.
The plane will land at terminal 3 at about 16:45 - how quickly do you
think I can be at the railair bus stop from this time?
Thanks in advance,
Roger Melly. | |

Do you have an EU Passport?
Do you have any checked bags?
I'd normally allow 60 minutes, but flights into T3 can often be 60
minutes late, in addition.

| | Guest | Time to get through Heathrow Thanks Hilary.
It'll be in september, around the middle of the month. I don't really
know if this'll be in a holiday period or not.
It's an international flight, if that makes any difference.
Thanks again. | |

It's the chequered ones that look a bit brash ;-)

I read that to mean checked in baggage not the colour of his case. | |

Wouldn't know, not exactly an airport buff ;-)

Aye.

What does this mea anyhow? is this the luggage that buggers off down
the conveyor belt to be thrown into the guts of the plane? i.e. not
carry on hand luggage? If so, then yeah, I'll have a big rucksack in
there.
> ...but you didn't say which day you would be travelling.
I'll be getting back on a tuesday.

Yes, that's the checked luggage, so called not because of the pattern on
it, but because the airline needs to check which baggage reclaim belt
it's going to be delivered on.
