Which air line do you think is best for long distances - British airways,
Qantas or Singapore airlines? Safelty is, of course, the main thing!!

Don't know about safety, but SQ is by far the the best when it comes to
comfort/entertainment/service/food.

'The main thing'?!? Do you mean to say that when planning a flight you
look at all the options and say 'Right, A and B are safer than C and D.
Now I will look at lesser matters, such as fare, convenience of schedule
etc.'? If so, you are certainly in a small minority. Commercial air
travel is safe, full stop. The number of injuries or deaths on a
per-passenger, per-flight basis is probably fewer than victims getting
struck by lightning on the golf course. Far more people are smashed in
and by automobiles every year.

cheers,

Henry

Thanks for your reply - I intended to fly from Oz to the UK. which takes
quite a while. I think service etc is very important; even though I will be
travelling economy but safety is still the main thing.
