Default 28 hour transatlantic flight

Are they crazy??

Jezus, as if the plane was carrying Osama and Saddam and 298 of their
friends.

Just get the passengers off the plane, take their passports and get them
into a nearby hotel. That's how it is done in civilised countries.

security plus the special US interview at AMS, and all pax details had
been given to the US before the plane departed.

Many years ago I was on a direct BA flight travelling LHR to YVR. YVR was
fogged in. SEA was also fogged in. I ended up in SFO for a day.
