Yes, I flew from Dallas to Gatwick very late in BCal's era [1], on the
second flight of the day on the last day of the summer season (in the
winter there was just the earlier flight). It was very empty, but I
couldn't quote a number.
And four? years ago from Stansted to Oslo on a late-night flight that
was 20 minutes after the previous late-night flight from another carrier
(so most people would have booked the earlier one). I think there were 5
or 6 of us, plus cabin crew.
[1] iirc I was flying back having done some field testing of the Amstrad
PPC in the USA, so that would be Autumn 1987.
