Normandy-Nottingham?

I might have to travel from Normandy (Rouen would be nearest town) to
Nottingham University to be there late on a friday afternoon.The only
immediately obvious choice for flights is Bmibaby CDG-EMA. Anyone got
any other ideas for a quick, easy, not too expensive one way journey?
Would BHX be the next easiest airport for Nottingham? What sort of
drive would that be? Otherwise LTN? STN? LBA? Any advice appreciated.

~60 minutes normally. 48 miles. Friday afternoon though, all bets are off
for the M42....

Train from BHX to Nottingham takes 105 minutes including a change.

~90 minutes+. 98 miles. Again, the M1 northbound on a Friday has the
potential to be tragic.

Not sure. 113 miles. The M11/A1 are never quick though.

87 miles. Probably quicker than LTN/STN although the M1 around J29/30 can be
pretty bad.

BHX to Nottingham is about an hours drive. LTN would be the next easiest
as it is straight up the M1. LBA is on the wrong side of the
Leeds/Bradford area and STN would be a fair old drive.

There are also good train services from Birmingham and Luton to
Nottingham.

But good old ENEMA is probably your best bet.
