Default Any way to check which airlines/destinations fly to an airport?

Hi everyone, I have been looking around on the web to see if i can find any
cheap, 1 (or maybe 2) stop
way to get from Manchester/Liverpool airport to Lahore (Pakistan)...

Currently I'm making a list of the airlines/origin airports of all flights
which go to Lahore, since there's a fairly limited range I reckon this
should be a good way to find the possible routings and then find out the
prices - any ideas on how to do this quickly and easily? I've looked at the
Pakistani CAA website, they list today's flights only for Lahore, so at teh
mo I've listed today's, I could repeat for the rest of the week, but is
there a better way? The Lahore airport website is er, under construction
(though it doesn't say that...)

Thanks,
H

I reckon an easier way would be to put MAN/LHR-LHE into expedia,
travelocity, opodo, etc. and then call Trailfinders as well.

You'll probably get better prices trying LHR-LHE and then adding on the cost
of a train or flight to London.

Or check out the local bucket shops for a consolidator who can do a deal on
MAN-LHE direct?

The Star Alliance route planner suggests going Manchester to Copenhagen,
Munich or Frankfurt - all of which offer direct flights to Bangkok from
where you can get to Lahore direct.

Thanks, I've explored the more straightforward routes, the prices are fairly
standard. I was hoping to find some more unusual/exotic routings perhaps
using no-frills flights to Athens/Istanbul and the like....

Certainly possible but only recommended if you like adventure and risk
taking. Wouldn't you rather have guaranteed connections where your luggage
is checked in all the way and the airline will still care if you miss a
connection? I don't know if you'll save much if anything by trying to travel
so far low-cost but I don't have any personal experience of doing this,
someone else might...

Oh deary :-(

Have you tried/considered going via Dubai with Emirates? A good service, and
perhaps a few days stopover in Dubai?
