Certainly, if you know where to go. As we're talking about LGW, take
the stairs/lift up to the observation deck on top of South Terminal
and there you can purchase coffee or tea for decidedly non-airport
prices. I once worked out that if you stay for two cups, even with the
entrance charge you are better off than paying for two equivalent
beverages in the ghastly Gatwick Village.
