Just because a main network provider has a roaming agreement with
another network doesn't mean any of their virtual networks has an
    agreement as well.

I suspect any delay in signing up networks to AeroMobile OnAir etc is
down to the cut of money the operators get like the shipboard GSM
operators as they are charged independently from any regional roaming
rates or in the case of o2 UK as rest of world.

Yes but what with it being Ryanair, they will no doubt charge you £50 just
to take your mobile into the cabin, then another £1 per letter or £1000 per
    call (whichever is the greater).

About as successful as Ratners '****' speech, it has highlighted the
    shortcomings of Ryanair.

Don't keep repeating it, you've fallen for their cunning ploy. It's not
a serious suggestion, just a way to get people to talk about the
airline; and more talk means more passengers.

Ratner didn't pull it off, but Ryanair do - time and time again.

No, they successfully pulled off a stunt. I know it annoys people, but
they are very good at it.

But they don't care what *you* (or I) think - all that matters to them
is it brings them more business.
