Default Train or other method of travel DC to Philly?

I was thinking of not getting rental car. Is there a fast public transp

method to get DC to Philly? What cost for 2 adults and a 14 yr old
child? Maybe I'll just get a rental car but hate to pay $15 a day just
to store it in a hotel for a week waiting for the next driving portion
of a vacation.

Thanks,
Bri

If you decide to rent a car, why leave it parked when you get there. Rent
the car 1 way. Drive to Philly, and turn the car in. 15 bucks + cab fare
from the rental office to Hotel.
