Default Colorado Springs Vicinity

Hi guys and gals,
I would like to find a scenic spot in or near Colorado Springs where
I could enjoy the scenery and do a little swimming and sunning. Does
anyone know of a good spot (lake, stream, hiking trail) where I could
spend the better part of the day just hanging out and keeping cool?

Thanks,
V2

There is (perhaps was) a road, a former railbed, that goes up from
Colorado Springs to Victor. Not far from Colorado Springs is what
appears to be a large resort of some sort nesteled in a small valley.
I don't know what it is nor whether it's public but it looked very
nice to me.
