I did this job on my 98 Sienna. It is a blind job that is done by feel, but
can indeed be done. One just needs to wriggle one's arms in there with
confidence and feel. I used straight extensions and the spark plug socket
that has the rubber inside of it to hold onto the spark plug. I am betting
that RayO is thinking to use the vacuum tubing to put the new plugs in
without cross threading, and then tightening down with the regular wratchet
wrench attached to the extension. When I did it, I just used the
rubber-in-the-socket thingy with the extension (no wrench yet) and carefully
lowered the plug that way, turned it backwards until I felt the thread skip
and then turned it into place with my fingers, then snugged it in with the
wrench.
