Default Thumwheel Dimmer impossible to see at night

Maybe it's only my '05 4-Runner but of all the interior lights the one I
miss the most, and could use the most, is a marker to locate the
dashboard dimmer thumb wheel switch. Nothing is more frustrating than
trying to find the dimmer thumb wheel in pitch blackness. Is this simply
a problem with my truck/has Toyota been made aware of it and maybe if so
has a ready-made fix.

Thanks for any and all advice.

Actually I hope they don't!

I am perfectly capable of noticing how much the sun is out and
adjusting a knob to suit....

I, for one, don't want more stuff that can break on a car....

Thank you, Scott. Actually I'm _from_ Maine, not in it anymore. Once
you leave, you're permanently "from away". :-(

But I digress from the thread. Unprecedented! :-)

It would have been helpful if Toyta had , say, located the dimmer
thumbwheel in a shallow depression or in a textured patch so you'd know
you were getting warm in your search. I just think the whole matter was
given short shrift when it deserved at least a medium-length shrift.
