You would not make it past jury selection. Take that to the bank.

Oh I can't tell you how much I WORRY about that fact. ;-)

You have to stop the engine. Pull up the Parking Brake lever a notch.
Restart the engine. They don't go out simply by pulling the lever up a
notch. Even so, you still have the BRAKE light ON all the time. That light
is ALSO turned on when the brake fluid is low or when there is a pressure
differential between the front and rear brakes for any reason.

Are your DRLs emitting tunes that compete with the radio?

And that annoys you? (What if no one is home?)

T/O: Are you an apartment dweller? Trailer park maybe? My neighbor's
wife passively mentioned how she was campaigning for new and darker curtains
(which are seldom closed now) for their front windows. When you like your
neighbors, you take such hints and accomodate.

And I sincerely hope that that hour's work won't play any role in
the accidental death of some little kid in a car crash sometime.

Maybe it annoys him that there's nobody home to be annoyed?

Why do I need a rebuttal? I'm trying to get you to explain why the driver
of a car with DRLs becomes annoyed by said DRLs. I can't help it if
your reasons don't make sense.

Aha, so you aren't really supporting the original assertion that DRLs annoy the
driver of the vehicle in which they reside. Now let's look at your newly clarified
position: you are against DRLs because they annoy /others/ (which wasn't the
question in the post to which you responded).
Let's look at this situation with your neighbour living on the ground floor. She
lives in the ground floor of a city. She doesn't like external lights. Wouldn't it
make sense to get dark currents to begin? That makes more sense than to expect
the lights form outside to be turned off. A friend of mine lived next to a car dealer.
Lit like a stadium. Guess what? She got dark curtains. She didn't complain to
the dealership. What about people living along a main road. What about all
that noise, those lights? I think one chooses their curtains to suit one's
neighbourhood and desired interior ambience. I don't think that's a good reason
to get rid of DRLs. DRLs are a life saver for those cases when people neglect
to turn on their lights.
