Default 5th gen exterior lights

my 90 celica gt exterior lights (fog, running lamps, plate, dashboard) turns
on automatically as soon as the ignition is turned on. is there a way to
disable these lights coz i ended up replacing the burnt out bulbs most of
the time. i want to turn them on manually.
thanx
