Default Can clogged cold start injector feed tube be cleaned?

I have an '89 Toyota Cressida and recently had the engine rebuilt. When I
got the the cold start injector feed tube off the car, I noticed it had a
white powdery buildup on fitting that looks a lot like the crud that can
build up on a battery terminal. In fact, when I would scrape the stuff off,
over time it would build back up again.

I soaked it in a heavy baking soda solution and aggressively scraped all of
the visible residue off the inside & outside of the fitting.

I find that when blocking one side of either of the fittings with my thumb
and blowing into the unblocked side, no air seems to be getting through to
the other fitting. Clearly it's clogged.

Toyota wants $60 for another one. Is there any effective way to unclog this?
I've tried drilling with the end of a paper clip, I get out some debris, but
so far not enough to create a clear passage.

Thanks!

No didn't go that route - though I wonder what that would do to the
metal fittings (??). I finally got through with the paper clip drill
and hitting it from the other end with thinner wire put through the
other end.
