swaybar displaced bilaterally 1/2 inch: to fix or not?

Last spring a kid drove into the backside of our 2000 Camry LE Sedan.
Yesterday rotating the tires, I noticed that the body shop had not
restored the swaybar to its factory position. At both ends it's
displaced 1/2 inch towards the passenger side. Questions:

1. Is it worth pursuing with the auto body shop that allegedly
restored the car to factory specs? (You can easily predict the
response.)

2. Would any of you even consider buying this defect except as
salvage?

If it drives fine then why would you bother, and you dont say it has
driven bad.

Who said "it drives fine?" There's an occasional clunking sound from
the rear.
Toyota Customer Relations says get it fixed. So I'm in hot pursuit.

a 15$ bushing is what made mine clunk, its a common problem, and you
never said it didnt drive fine.
