Default 95 front rotors.

Hi
I have a 1995 CAMRY 4.
Its got 95K miles on it.
I wondered if it was time to change the front rotors.

1 Is it worth while getting them reground.

2 Is it as well to buy genuine TOYOTA rotors.

3 Or good enough to go 3rd party discs. If so who's is worth buying in
the UK

you should of changed out your rotors a long time ago.

Yes, good aftermarket rotors is fine. I'd recommend looking at OEM
replacement pads though. Every aftermarket pad I ever bought ending
up squealing like the dickens.

01dynas another missinformed post. If you take the rotors to be cut
the shop will only cut them if there is enough metal left, they
measure it, dynaflop. If your brakes have been cut a few times its
likely there is not enough metal. People that dive all highway miles
and brake easily have less wear on rotors. After market is alot
cheaper than toys overpriced rotors. For electric components and
thermostat use Toyota stuff

Here is what to worry about, in the US where we salt roads for 6
months of the year brake lines, and fuel lines last 10 years, have
those inspected and if there is rust, replace them. I couldn`t stop
one winter night because by brake line went, I used my emergency brake
to drive 1 hr home in a snow storm and had an accident. Make sure your
emergency brake is working. Hoses, belts, all Oxidise, rubber gets
hard and brittle, if they are original its time to replace them, the
easiest way to ruin a motor is loose a hose. If your car has visable
rust then fuel and brake lines may be bad.
