It means "Golden Thread". It is also an area in China that seems to
get a good amount of rain; although I really don't know if that
applies to this tea.
This particular tea is considered the "best" of the Yunnan blacks with
nearly all gold tips.
Houde just posted a small amount of his web site for this Spring 07
crop.I am anxious to compare it to the previous year's crop, as I find
this rich, but delicate, malty tea so enjoyable - especially since we
are still getting cool mornings here in California.
