It isn't all a cost concern, but you have to realise that 20-25 large
ceramic jars would consume entirely too much counter space. I'm trying
to gain back two cupboards' space, but if it came at the expense of 10
feet of counterspace I wouldn't even bother.

The other issue is the size of the container. Some of my more expensive
teas I don't have a pound of, so in a large container it would mostly
be air... which again is what I'm trying to avoid.

I just need some smallish canisters that will hold about 60-120 Grams
of tea each and will either nest or fit into a rack to save space.
Similar to spice jars but not clear glass. That was all.

Default Inexpensive Tea Storage?

I've been looking for an Apothecary cabinet like forever. The ones in
good condition are too expensive, the ones in bad condition are too
expensive. The eight foot tall and hundred drawers are $15k the last
time I looked. I recently went through a kitchen remodel and ended up
with two extra lazy suzans which could be stacked for tea storage. I
got them at a discount store for a tenth of the retail price.

Hello Jim,
On the subject of your storage, you mentioned a cabinet with many many
drawers. I saw something similar at World Market. It was black wooden
with like 25-30 drawers. It ran about 399.00 I looked at it and of
course after I thought of it it was a grand idea for tea storage. It
was nice looking too. I went back to the store and alas it was gone.
Maybe a world market in your area may have one. Just a thought... Once
I saw one on ebay and it was full of herbs dried and cost a fortune.
But keep searching, good luck
Jenn
