Default Tea India

Has anybody ever tried "Tea India" tea? It is an American brand -
apparently it was developed to meet the needs of Indian immigrants who
were dissatisfied with the quality of tea in America (who can blame
them and why didn't the Irish think of this first?).

Tea India is sold in Indian grocery stores. I saw it when I went to
stock up on Taj Mahal. I may give it a try when the Taj Mahal runs
out. I was just wondering if anyone here could tell me how it compare
to Taj Mahal.

Thanks.

Sure, they have a perfectly good kalami tea. I don't like it quite
as much as the Sharzad brand, but it's fine.

As far as I know, the Taj Mahal is only BOP, not whole leaf. Although
Tea India may make a "barooti" BOP as well as the kalami.

I have seen it but never tried it. I asked a friend who was on business
to China to bring me back some tea (I really should have been more
specific) and he brings me back this box of Mlesna brand, Dimbula BOP
loose tea. It's from Sri Lanka of all places, not quite the authentic
chinese tea I had been expecting, but very good and much like Taj Mahal
and such but a bit higher quality. Worth a look for, I think you can
buy it online.

Drinking: Mlesna Dimbula BOP, which sparked my reply to this thread. :)
