Default Do you rent?

Wet rates at Offutt AFB Aero Club:

C-172F, H $58
7ECA $58
PA-28-161 $66
PA-28R-200 $86
T-34B $90
B55B $173

Any renter who's eligible to join a military aero club ought to; they
always have the best rates in the area.

$150 - $175 for the C172 , warriors, with ADF and VOR
State is Victoria
( Seriously though I once had an American ask me if that was near
California)
It is actually Australia and 1$AUS = 80 cents USA.. but that is
skyrocketing too , last week it was only 77 cents and I hate to tell you
guys it is not our currency appreciating.

I'm a member of a flying group (sort of like a club, but with leaseback
planes). Our prices are dry and we use a particular FBO on the field
for fule because they provide services (scheduling & meeting) to the
group.

C-172N - Dual flip/flop Nav-Com 1 GS, ADF & Loran - $42/hour + ~$32
fuel = $74
C-172(N?) - Garmin 430, flip-flop Nav-Com - same rate
C-172R (2 of these) - Garmin stack GPS, Dual Nav-Com, AP $68/hour +
~$45 fuel = $113

We are based at Orlando Executive (KORL) and also require annual
insurance ($180) and $42/month maintenance as weel as 1 hour of flying
charged per month, may be banked for 4 months.

The group is in the process of becoming a club (more or less) as the
two founders are ready to retire.

I'm in South Carolina and rent one of the following aircraft to fly
(these two are at 50J):

Cessna 150 Dual VOR, ADF, GPS. IFR Certified. $60/hr wet.
Cessna 150 VOR, ADF. IFR Certified. $60/hr wet.

The owner of these planes has the autogas STC to help keep fuel costs
down. If I fly far enough that I have to refill with AVGAS he'll
reimburse the price per gal that he pays for autogas.

I haven't actually rented them but there's also a 172 available nearby
for $85/hr wet (an older model), and a pretty spiffy 1999 172 for $110
wet.

If you think that's expensive, try ownership. I just got an AD that
says my otherwise great prop (newly overhauled too) is now worthless.
Total bill will be around $6000.
