Try going to a Champ.

Landing Checklist:

C - Carburator Heat on
G- Gas Still On
U- Still Down and Welded
M- Still wired full Rich
P- Still Fixed
Check the Carb heat again for something to do.

My one Gear up landing was in a Champ. Just as we lifted off on
takeoff, The Left Wheel hit a 6" high bump and collapsed back
underneath the airplane. A bit of a shock to look out the left side and
not see the wheel there.

However with a bit of care it is possible to landing a champ on one
wheel with minimal damage.
