Default written private exam question question

I downloaded the latest list of questions from the FAA website. I
know that there are questions listed that will not be on the private
pilot test: questions related to recreational pilot exam. However,
there are a few questions related to gliders. Besides the one: who
is qualified to tow a glider, I ran across a couple of others:

154. B12 PVT
The minimum allowable strength of a towline used for an aerotow of a
glider having a certificated gross weight of 1,040 pounds is
A) 502 pounds.
B) 832 pounds.
C) 1,040 pounds.

Is this just for the glider pilot exam, or do I need to know the
answer?

Thanks,
Brad

Are you allowed to tow a glider with a PVT pilot certificate?

Hopefully you know the answer is yes, so while this may be kind of
rediculous for almost all the applicants, I'd say it isn't out of the
scope for what could be expected of a private pilot. The rule is:
the rope must be able to hold 80% of the gross of the glider being
towed.

HTH.
