Default I speak whale

I learned Morse as a Cub Scout back in the '60's, and got a Boy Scout merit
badge for it! And what do you know, enough of it remains that I can pretty
much just listen in on station identifiers without having to look at the
chart. Nowhere near good enough for communications, mind you, but picking out
three-letter identifiers isn't that big a trick, and it lessens your work
load.

Some day all nav radios should just do this for you. Just look down
and look at the identifier on the nav screen.
