Nice. He gave me my PPL checkride.
I liked the XC he had me plan. Up to that point, any "complicated" flight
plan an instructor gave me (ie. multiple hops) was based upon distance.
Jay gave me a relatively short trip, but with four nontrivially sized
people in a 172. I think I'd enough weight left for about a thimble-full
of 100LL.
