Missouri Winery Info + Hemman Winery in Brazeau

Hi there. I'm new to the community here but so far I've seen some great stuff. I found a great guidebook called Exploring Missouri Wine Country that may help anybody that's looking for more info. It features each winery in detail and even has a wine list from them all. My favorite so far is Hemman Winery, which is waaaaay south of St. Louis and is terribly small (the tasting room is the front porch!) but it's a family operation and the Hemmans are very warm and friendly and their wines are fantastic! I recommend it to everyone! It's in Brazeau.

Thanks for the information. I've never heard of this winery. Would you have an address so that people can find them via Mapquest, etc.? Also, if you have the phone number from the guidebook, that would be great. About how long of a drive is it?

The phone number listed in the guidebook is (573) 824-6040. Depending on where you are in the St. Louis area, the drive is around 2 hours. From Interstate 55, go north on 61 to Highway C. Follow that into Altenburg and turn left on A. Once in Frohna, go right on Highway C to Brazeau. The address is 13022 Highway C.
