Default newbie question

Am new to snowmobiling, just bought 2 machines for wife and I.

Got her a helmet with heated visor, mine without but has breath deflector.
Went for our first spin the other day and could not stop my visor from
fogging, icing up inside...

Is there a spray or something I can put on to stop this...can't go two hours
stoppin every 15 mins to wipe off the visor or ride with it open.

Thanks for any help.

Peter

First of all, the proper words in this case are "wife and me".

You have a few options:

1. Anti fogging spray...this helps, follow directions on bottle. You can
also try just regular old dishwashing detergent on your visor (on the
inside). Put on a little detergent and then wipe it off and buff it with a
tissue.

2. You can leave your visor open just a crack..or try to vent your helmet in
some way.....this will help and still keep you warm.

3. Practice breathing downward out of your mouth...Seriously, it does work
in some cases...to keep your breath off your shield

If none of these work, you will probably have to get a new helmet to solve
the problem. Fogging is a never ending problem

My wife and ME thank you all for your input!

I'll try the cheap dishwater trick and keep my eyes peeled for a used helmet
with heated shield on ebay.

Cheers,
Peter

Actually, in this case the proper words are "wife and I"
Sigh!

You'll solve the problem somehow or learn to put up with it...we all do
eventually. It's a minor nuisance that we all overcome somehow to enjoy the
great sport of snowmbiling.

I hate to say this, but the preferred verbiage in this case would be "THE
FU*#!N WIFE AND I THANK YOU"
