Shawn Ross,

I saw your posting in rec.skiing.resorts.north-america about Kimberly and was
interested. However, I proceeded to read other newsgroups such as
rec.skiing.resorts.europe and saw your blatant cross-posting. I won't deal with
anyone who behaves in such a manner. Sorry.

Jeff,

My apologies. I am brand new to newsgroups and was unaware of the ettiquete
involved in posting to multiple groups. In my market research, I discovered
newsgroups as a potential way of reaching the skiing community. It was not
my intention to offend anyone, rather I felt that posting to all the groups
(14 of them) related to skiing was an effective way to get the word out
there (and didn't realize that it was viewed poorly). I thank you for the
lesson learned regarding what is deemed appropriate in this form of online
communication. Are there any other pitfalls regarding newsgroup posting that
I might not be aware of? Thanks in advance for your feedback.
