Advice required for beginner i'd agree with flaine. i learnt 15yrs ago (erk!), and we used to ski last
week in march/1st week in April. It did get quite muddy/grassy, and I
remember skiing over what turned out to be tennis courts and rocks leading
to an interesting chat with the rental man.
Still it should be cheap as well, which was one of your requirements, and
the last time I went to Val T, it was definitely more expensive...!
