| | Guest | Roller Skiing, and Link to Every Currently Made Roller Ski ? I have a pair of the Pro-Skis and you are right... they are quite
unwieldy. They are fine for double-pole training, so if you are
training for the Vasa Loppet, they would be good . They weigh alot
more than my skis, and the weight is distributed over a smaller
length. It seems to me that if you want classic rollerskis to do
diagonal stride the best ones would be the lightest so the swing
weight doesn't become an issue so you can concentrate on timing and
body position. I think the Ski Skett Nords may be the lightest, from
the limited information I could find on the net. If I get another pair
of classic rollerskis that's what I would get.

slow enough you'd have time to get forward. Or are the boots too stiff?

them all the time, or even a lot? I've heard of top skiers who have
several pairs and use whichever brand's wheel speed meets their needs.
As they get stronger, the wheels that the rest of us use can become too
fast for an adequate workout.
I agree that it's comforting to have that front wheel on the ground in
back at extension. The Marwe combi with the wire wheel is the longest
out there, at least in the States. They are something like 820-830mm,
longer than the V2-K models at 814mm. At 5'10", Jenex would probably
recommend a standard length model, 754mm, so the Marwes would be plenty
long enough.
