Default help choosing ski

Hello,

I am looking to upgrade my skis, I am intermediate skier. I have been
skiing for 3 years. I primarily ski east coast, but hoping to get out
to west coast as well. I have Salomon Verse 7 skis right now. I would
like to upgrade my skis to a more intermidiate/advanced skis so that I
can hold on to them for a while. I researched different all mountain
skis and have narrowed down the list to these skis. I am hoping to get
your opinion on the selection.

'05 Scream 8 Pilot w/S810 Ti Binding (Closeout)

'05 Volkl Supersport 4 Star w/Motion Lt Easy Step 168

'05 Volkl 7 24 Pro Motion AT w/P.C.O.S Skis

'05 Volkl Supersport Superspeed Skis w / Motion AT Bindings

If you have recommendations for other all mountain
intermediate/advanced skis I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

-Alex.

All that matters is what you think after a demo on the hill.

use. I'll keep my eyes open <g>

Were there any good race ski's?
I think I spoke to you about 2 New Years ago at Killington. But I would
like to get the chance to chat with you F2F. Are you going to be at
Killington on the 18 of December? It is the first Masters race and I am
trying to arrange the trip. I would like to put a face to the comments,
which are fairly interesting.

Yea, it's in my car. One of those small black Life Link ones. I've
been using it to clear the snow off of the windows.

General AT question. I was perusing Couloir's gear review and struck
by the wide variety of dimensions, but particularly by the thin waists
on quite a few. I ski Atomix Supercross inbounds (105 / 64 / 95) and
it wouldn't appear to be terrribly different from many on offer across
the various brands. The Havoc from from BDEL billls itself as able to
"rip turns on hardpack, charge in powder and mix it up in the park."
Besides bindings and weight, what are the key differences between an on
piste and backcountry ski? What would be the limitation to relying
only on AT gear for all your skiing needs?

Hello,I started skiing 4/5 yrs ago and like many, didn't know what typ
of skis would siut me.I agree with,"if they feel right then they're fo
you"!
I started on Salomon crossmax 7,progressed very fast onto Dynastar 6
and then bought Dynastar 64.I'll never be without them!!
They go anywhere.
I was first advised by the shop to get the 63 after I told them I was
fast,hard skier.I found them boring.They are useless off-piste i
anything more than 4 inches of snow!
I love my 64's.They're so versatile.I do think I'll have to get som
fat skis for deep powder(just to have another pair to show off)!!
Ski tests are a great way to find the skis that suit you.Ask abou
too.See what people think.I know that Volki are trusted by those of u
over 35 yrs old!
I'm not in the know New skis out this season, but Rosigno
9S,Xscream,Bandits etc are all brilliant. Dynastar are doing a new sk
& a friend has those on offer. He's skied for 10 yrs and a hot skier,s
I should think they might be the onesd to go for?
