We're thinking about going in late June, looking for others' experiences
with dive shops and accomodations. How about mosquitos?

Check with someone local about the jellyfish spawning. I was in
Providenciales sometime in June and the jellies were everywhere. Wasn't
really an issue for me for diving, but some people got stung.
Snorkeling at the beach was a bit unnerving, though. Swimming through
hundreds of yards of the little swimmers packed in a few inches apart
took some mental control. If you go forward, they flow around you, but
if you back up, they rush toward you. It's all due to currents
generated by your own movements, but sometimes that is hard to remember.
Whatever you do, don't slap at them like mosquitoes.

Are you talking about thimble jellies or "real" jellies?

Thimble. Billions of them. Knowing Al, they won't bother him a bit,
but I thought I'd mention them for completeness.
