I'm afraid that I got all the good weather the week before Christmas.
It was rainy for a day or two, then five days of sun. The morning after
I left it went back to rain...

Yeah, well we had great Christmas weather in Thailand too, no rain at all.
Unfortunately no one warned me that it was tsunami season.

The only dives I'm getting in when I'm in New Orleans are of the alcohol
vending kind. I live an hour's drive from a few hour's boat ride to the
finest diving in North America so I'm not desperate like y'all folk down
under there who would drive 6 hours or 60 to dive in a hole. A month after
I leave NO I'm diving the wild and mysterious island of Puerto Rico and in
July, Cocos. Who needs swamps?

Well, considering I've seen that hole many times, including a dozen or
so trips to the non-passable restriction, guess I drove for hours with an
overnight stay just to visit & dive.

Guess I won't get that desperate again.
