 Things That Used To Be
You can now add Canyon River Rapids at Hersheypark to the list of gone
but not forgotten. The last day of operation for this 21 (or is it
22) year old ride was this past Sunday, August 17th. Destruction of
the ride began the very next day to make room for a wave pool and lazy
river to debut for the park's 2009 season.
CRR was my favorite ride at Hersheypark to operate back when I was
with the rides department and it will be sorely missed. R.I.P.
