Did you count it each time you rode because of differing experiences
based on the self-braking aspect? I did.

I'd say nah to both.

I've been on the SLIDE at Oakwood (with lifthill) and Attitash (with
skilift)
And last Monday I rode my first COASTER style... Fun, really fun...
Not a coaster.. Just fun.

Out of curiosity, what would make the Sled style coaster that Miller
rode up in Canada (doesn't have a lift- guests climb up to loading
platform and ride down) and the Mountain coaster not one?

Are you sure that you didn't mean "alpine slide != roller coaster"?

I never figured you for a VB man :)

After I ride an Autosled I'll tell you :P --- But as far as the Mt
Coaster goes... The whole "once it hits a set speed.. it wont go any
faster" thing... And the being able to stop it.. thing :|

If the governor is an issue...

Then is a Chance Toboggan a coaster? It has a governor wheel with a
hydraulic clutch to limit the car speed coming down the spiral. And
trust me, limiting the speed on the spiral is a good thing, not because
of the spiral, but because of what the air time on the final dips will
do as you return to the back of the trailer.

Not VB. I've been around longer than that. Applesoft.
