Thanks for the TR, Steve. While it's good to hear some SF parks are
improving it is still not enough to convince me to visit any SF park
this year. But if they keep improving year in and year out I'm sure
I'll change my mind in a year or two.

It's probably the way Steve said. They've been going out of their way
to make sure almost everything runs all the time. Last year I was
happy to see literally every ride in operation, with few breakdowns.
They've increased the size of the maintenance staff considerably, And
hired alot of new staff that can and will do the job. Every coaster
team I encountered was alert, quick high spirited and fast.

We went there in April(it was on a Sunday). Everything was running
fine. Even the staff was courteous. One of the security guards asked
if we enjoyed our visit, and in the process, did a little magic trick.
It was interesting. Overall,we had a good time that day. SES

I think it is a good idea, because it does speed things up. You don't
have half the train running to the other side of the platform to store
their basket balls and giant stuffed animals. It is just going to
take some time for people to get used to this and simply not carry all
sorts of things with them into the parks. Be prepared, wear the right
clothing, and you won't need a locker.

Not saying its right or wrong to "force" guests to fork over $1 to use
a locker to stow loose articles, but after seeing the system in use at
SFA I think its going to work. The $1 is good for up to 2 hours as
well (not saying to abuse the policy, but it does allow you to grab
more than one ride on the given coaster or other rides in the vicinity
while also allowing you to bring larger cameras/videocameras into the
park and not have to worry about their whereabouts while you are
riding).
