Default Maverick: Another Intamin triumph

Year after year the Gods at Intamin deliver. In '06 it was El Toro. In
'05 it was that masterwork of the rocket coasters. And now in '07 we
have an all-new work of brilliance.

The ride is, unequivicolly, a work of genius. Silky smooth and running
flat out for the duration, there really is nothing out there to
compare. Indeed, a ride on the two B&Ms at the Point shortly after
just reconfirmed how badly they age, and how now Intamin sits alone at
the pinnacle of coaster creation.

Yes, and you can thank Werner Stengle [not Intamin] for his awesome
design.

That's a bit harsh don't you think. Clearly this accident is similar
to the one in Japan where the cable wasn't check in YEARS!

Intamin may have designed the ride, but it's up to the park to
properly maintain it imo.

It's a drop ride !!! - for an accident like this to happen - it's
clearly a maintance issue.
