thank you for that wonderful, explanation and response to my post. I
think I would have rather read one from Viands.

True dat. At a coaster event at Wildwood, they were sending out cars
unlocked all the time on their then-brand new Crazy Mouse. It was
AWESOME!!! Made me want to ride it that way all the time.

Well, its an honest and concise answer. I don't know how much info you
need on that.
As for your second comment about there being spinning and nonspinning
cars, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the majority of people
who see a spinning coaster are okay with the spinning motion. The
process of building two lines and running half and half would make the
line for a low capacity attraction twice as long. Its a bad solution
to a problem that basically doesn't exist for most.

But wouldn't two separate lines offer two completely different
experiences, making the public want to experience the coaster twice
(once with once without)?
If you could assume that most of the public is ok with spinning, then
could it be safe to assume that they are ok with riding backwards (yet
Thunderation is both)? It falls along the lines of the GP that rides
Thunderation or the Eagle backwards/fwds at SFGAm twice. Both are the
same coaster, but offer different rides. Its kind of what Disney is
striving to do (TZOT).

Well, Eagle has two distinct tracks, whereas a typical Reverchon mouse
doesn't. You'd have to build two coasters for the price of two.
As for people wanting to do it both ways, I seriously doubt it. Most
facilities they run spinning mice at are not Disney, which is to say
people are going to want the part that's more thrilling. If you've
been to Coney Island, you'd note quickly in line for the Wonder Wheel
as to whether or not people want to ride it both ways.

Eagle blue has under 100' of track that is different from Eagle red.
