The purpose of the buffer is to do the hard work, which is scrubbing
with the wet wax, to remove old build-up and leave a smooth, clean,
shiny surface. It also leaves less to buff off when the wax is dry.

Whatever floats your boat but spreading the wax seems, to me, more
difficult than wiping it off.
Maybe it's the type of wax. I have 2 buffers and I *could* use one to
spread and one to "buff" but the only time I use both is when I use a
"cleaner" and then a wax.

I've tried that; it never worked for me. I had a heckuva time getting
the old, dried wax off. <G>

Is it a regular car wax that you use on your RV? Or is there a
special RV wax? I have been using Rain-X wash and wax, all in one. I
am not too happy with the results though. Any good wax product
anybody would recommend?
