From what I hear down here only about 15% of the illegals coming across are
Mexicans. Most of the rest are from Central and South America with some
Asians and a few Europeans (mostly eastern Europe) thrown in.

Thank you Hunter! So do I. I like other states and their denizens,
too, just for the record. I haven't found one that I couldn't find
something or someone in it that I liked.

you and the temp is 48 with a stout north wind blowing. I think I can
forget golf this weekend. | |

It has already passed here as well, so it won't take long to get down to
Austin.

I spent a summer in North Dakota, working on a power project.
There just isn't much there.........except cows.

That isn't true, at least on the Arizona border. I have seen the
numbers (as presented by ICE) and the majority are Mexican, with
Honduras etc. being another 25% or so. Many Chinese and some? Islamic
terrorists. My SIL's dad is ICE on the border and he just tells me to
not believe any stats about the border. There have been some
potentially catastrophic situations stopped at the southern border.
Police today in Phoenix broke up a smuggling ring which was bringing
upwards of 70 illegals per day to Phoenix. The highly structured
organization was paying big wages to drivers and othe personnel to
bring them up. That's 70 ILLEGALS PER DAY from just this group!

Are you sure? I thought they were Chihuahuas.

It is already down to 44 degrees here and we are supposed to have mid
30s overnight. People just don't believe me when I tell them that I
moved to Austin because it was so much cooler than where I was from. :-)
I didn't pay attention to the weather for the southern part of the
state. That is hundreds of miles from here.
