Pedro's South of the border has been an institution for 50 some years.
It was a favorite stopping place for traffic bound to Myrtle Beach and
points south. They have signs beginning 100 or so miles away
advertising it. It's fame is as a tourist stop. I don't know when it
became a truck stop. It's primary purpose is still a family tourist
trap.

Yukon,
After watching the show, I checked out the Travel Channel website. It
has a synopsis of the show.

Frank,
You're right, Frank, but they listed it as #10 on the 10 Best Truck
Stops. Maybe they think truckers can't wait to get there and "Buy
Pedro's Junk", "Ya Never Sausage A Place".
