Though mere anthills by Rocky Mt standards, N GA hills are quite
challenging. IMO rv travel in the Appalchian region is (except for
altitude, of course) fully as challenging as any one the continent -
aggravated by more traffic.

Hunter,
You never said what was wrong with your brakes. Did you ever find out?

Hunter,
When I had a TT, I used to put a hose clamp around the plug-in flap
and the plug to hold it tight. I started doing that after the plug
came out one time. Of course, if I had lost the pin holding the flap,
the hose clamp would not have been of much use. Afterward, I always
travelled with the running lights on. I figured, if I could see my
running lights in the sideview mirror, I probably had brakes too.

Change the one on the vehicle to a metal one. They seem to hold up
better. The plastic one I have in the bed of my truck required
replacing every 3 months till I put a metal one in. No problems now.

Walmart sells them, CW, or most any RV place ought to have them.

I had the same problem with my TT plug. I now use a 3/4" strip of Velcro
pulled around the whole recepticle to hold the flap securely down on the
plug. No problems now. When disconnected, I wrap it around the plug wire
and tuck the plug over the frame and under the propane tank cover out of
the weather.
Good luck,
