| | Guest | Weather Bob, I'm what, about 60 miles north of you? The temp has been hanging
at 33°F for about five hours and dropped to 31 abou and hour ago. Our
soaking rain is starting to freeze. Button up, my friend, and crank up
the furnace; it;s going to get nasty in Georgetown in a couple of hours. | |

Tsk, tsk! When you expect below freezing temps, fill your tank and put
the hose and filter in a storage compartment until the cold spell has
passed.
I wonder how many of the RV people here have frozen hoses this morning.?
It was 19.3F at sunrise. We are further south than Florence but at 4700
ft. it gets cold at night. My bird bath bubbler and my waterfall are
rimmed with ice this morning.

We've got a nasty ice-storm blowing through the Toronto area this
morning... roads are very slippery and there were 127 reported
accidents before I even ventured out at 8:00 this morning in my 4-wheel
drive SUV with the winter tires. Took me an additional hour and a half
to get to work following all those damn Hondas with no snow tires and
no 4-wheel drive. I drove around a lot of them but I finally gave up
the effort and got in line like everybody else...
Nice to see you back, Bob...

And a good thing too... East is east and the rest are depressed... and
all that.
BTW, does Jackie know about Perl? <g>

On the 6:00pm news they estimated 600 or so just on the main
highways... it was like driving on ball bearings.

LOL... sounds about right.
