This makes me think you keep the black tank valve 'open' all the time while
you live in the HH full time. If this is true, then it sounds like the
dreaded "Black Piramid" has formed, broken loose after you closed the valve
and filled it with chemical stuff, then plugged the drain opening when you
attempted to drain the tank.

If that is indeed what happened, I can't help you as I've never had to deal
with the issue. I'm sure you can sniff out someone here who has and find
out the remedy.

Terry

The cable you mention could have broken or come off at the valve. It's
possible that the valve is broken, but unlikely. Cut a small hole in
the underbelly near the pull handle to see if it's actuating the valve.
You may have to cut more than one hole to find the right place to look.

I know this from experience when one of my grey tanks split.

Another possibility is that you may have a "mountain" built up in your
tank that's blocking the drain. That's a nasty problem.
