Default Winnebago Full Body Paint

Need some education on the paint (protective coating?) used on new Winnebago
coaches. Customer Relations told me only that the Itasca Meridian coaches
were painted by Carrera Designs, and he "thought" that they used
Sherwin-Williams coatings.

I was told by the dealer that Imron was used, but Customer Relations told me
that while Winnebago used Imron, Carrera used Sherwin-Williams. Understand
that Imron is a DuPont Brand Name, but sure would like to get more info on
the type paint used, UV resistance, how to care for, etc.....

All of this just might be in the owners manual when I receive it, but then,
it might not be......

The full body paint refers to one of the options that most manufacturers now
provide whereby the entire coach is painted including the graphics, usually
seen on higher end coaches as it will add anywhere from 6 to 10 K to the
retail price.

Many of the new Winnebago products including the Meridian are painted. There
are no "white gel coat finish" areas. The full body is painted.
